Logistics Specialist - RIGOL Technologies North America

 

RIGOL Technologies is a leading global manufacturer of affordable high quality general purpose test &
measurement equipment. The product portfolio spans many product families including oscilloscopes, spectrum
analyzers and power supplies. Join our growing team as the Logistics Specialist where you will be responsible for
ensuring that our orders in North America are shipped to customers and distributors. For shipping and receiving,
you will be managing our on-site warehouse, as well as interfacing with a 3rd party warehouse. You will also be
closely interacting with the manufacturing team in China.

The position is primarily on-site and located in the Portland, OR area.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers/distributors and communicating with 3PL and forwarder to ensure efficient deliveries
  • Preparation of daily shipping orders using SAP and 3PL portals while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of the ship log
  • Ship and receive freight via common carriers (UPS or FedEx)
  • Unpack and record data on items to be stocked
  • Preparation of bill of ladings and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
  • Perform physical inventory counts quarterly and yearly to comply with audit requirements
  • Data Entry into several software systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)
  • Manage shipping reports, optimize warehouse operations, and optimize client services with other departments
  • Manage internal demo inventory

 

Requirement and Skills:

  • 2-year degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse management
  • Experience with Excel, CRM systems (SalesForce preferred) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills with on-site and remote teammates
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with teams in China
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and operates with accountability
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to drive a forklift is a plus
